StoryPages™ for the iPhoneStoryPages App Store Link

SpinThought® StoryPages is the iPhone (and iPad app) for anyone that wants to create illustrated stories or guides of any kind and deliver them quickly and easily. StoryPages lets you create storyboard style pages with your drawing in a top panel and typed text in a bottom panel like a storyboard used during movie production. Draw in fullscreen (landscape or portrait) and optionally add a background to set the scene or use as a tracing template with transparency control. StoryPages can be used for sketching movie scenes, animations, and comics. Use it for keeping a record of your product ideas, visual instructions (for hardware, electronics, contractors and landscapers), help files, construction and restoration projects, teacher curriculum, travelogues, hobbies, dream recording and more.

"As the second version of an already well-received app, StoryPages 2.0 presents an extremely simple, easy-to-use interface ideal for both professionals and amateurs who wants to add a little artwork to their writing and vice versa."

"In just a few minutes in a coffee shop (without wifi I might add), I created this storyboard and emailed it as a compiled PDF. This validates my feeling that there are many cases where mobile professionals and managers might be able to benefit with this tool."

Why Use StoryPages™?

There are dozens of note taking apps in the App Store, but I was looking for one that let me snap a picture, mark it up, and add text notes. Orignally I wanted a way to trace a building or structure and then use the app to add renovative elements with descriptive text. Then I realized StoryPages was perfect for creating an "instant user manual" I could send to my family when I was asked about all things technical. I'd just find a reference photo, add it to the background of a storypage, and mark it up with numbers that I described in the text below. Another cool thing is if you have an idea for a story but can't draw to save your life, just find an image, trace it, and color it up. Instant illustrator and children's book author!
